SECOND CHANCE
This season started off providing one castaways with a second chance at winning The Survivor Games, but that was just the beginning. Welcome to Luanda’s Second Chance!
This round will work differently then the past two because castaways who have already been voted out have the opportunity to return to the game. They have been waiting for this since the moment they were voted out and now is their shot at redemption!
To receive their second chance, similar to what happened on the show, each Pre-Jury member must create a pitch as to why they should return. What this pitch will be is completely up to you. It can be an essay, a poster, a video, a recording of you speaking your pitch, you can put as much or as little effort into this pitch as you would like.
These pitches will be ranked by a panel of impartial judges and the castaways currently in the game. The impartial judges’ scores will make up 75% of the total score and the castaway’s scores will make up the remaining 25%.
For this opportunity to have a shot at returning you want to place in the top 3.
If you have the highest average ranking you will automatically re-enter the game and get to join the tribe of your choice. If you ranked 2nd and 3rd, one of you will also return to the game and that will be whoever ranked highest amongst the castaway average rankings. The 3rd place finisher will also re-enter the game, but in a different way, becoming the first member of the jury.
The two returning players who re-enter the game will join their tribes who will both once again be attending Tribal Council. The returning players will go to Tribal Council with Immunity to distribute to someone on their new tribe. Whoever they give this immunity to will be safe from the vote, and everyone else, including the returning player, will be vulnerable. No free rides back into the mix.
Returning players have until Saturday June 27th at 10:00pm EST to post their pitches in their confessional. Pre-Jury are allowed to communicate with castaways currently in the game and vice versa. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
This is your one and only second chance in this game. Make it count!
