To be quite honest, this start was very iffy for me. I saw the opportunity to play as Jeff in a series that I like a lot and need redemption in and I wanted to take it. As soon as being cast and signing up, I think I realized what I got myself into and these next few months are packed pretty busy.
Moving on, I've come to realize I'm just in a big wave of up and downs. I'm going to get over it and let's just do this thing!
So, I picked Jeff because he is snarky, charming, witty, and that all sounds fun to me and right up my ally, so I'm rolling with it. I like him a lot as a person, so I hope to not ruin him especially as he debuts in the season come fall (WOO!!). You'll get snark and witty comments, so that's always a plus. I'm just really going to try to have fun here and cause some chaos.
That challenge was a huge bummer. I got a few scores for my tribe and I had a ton of fun with it. Ian's responses to me scoring while they were all refreshing was priceless. I got a bit cocky and carried away and tried to "like" his post commenting on me and signing out before they could catch me, but I didn't know he posted on page 3, so I had the wrong link. Long story short, I got caught and I could have helped my team more. I'm not sure I would have done as much as blue tribe did, so I'm not sure it matters. Hopefully my tribe doesn't see me as reckless or expendable, but sees me as resourceful and valuable and someone who likes to have fun and can keep high spirits in the tribe.
Not much else to note this round, but I am getting some good info from Sierra. I trust her the most right now and feel like I can tell her a lot. Apparently there is an alliance between Shane, Osten, Sierra, and Tom (which is easy to assume, especially by Shane's Tribal answer). That's something I need to keep note of. It doesn't leave me in a good spot. I could easily turn this vote around and get rid of Tom or something, but that wouldn't help the tribe and would only be a personal vote which I don't want to make right now. I also heard that Nat T has been trying to make alliances and made one with Shane that also involves Osten and Sierra. So it's safe to say that Osten and Shane are probably pretty damn close.
Basically, I hate the three small tribe format because there isn't anywhere to hide. So, I have to play this carefully. As long as I continue to prove myself in challenges, I should stick around, but I'm very much aware of my position on my tribe. I'm trying to play more low key than I did the last time and I'm just hoping that won't bite me. I think I need an alliance soon, but I have Sierra for now which is nice. Basically, if we go to Tribal again, I think Chelsea would end up going. She literally means nothing to me right now, so I'll be ok with it, but after that, I'm toast. So, I will need to think about what to do this round and next round if we were to lose again. A lot of careful planning has to be made, but for now, I'm going to try to relax and not get myself booted this round.
