Hello Jury,
For those of you who don't know, the last two FTCs that I've been a finalist in, I ended up getting 2nd place.
I was too cut throat and backstabbed a lot of my 'allies'.
So, I struggled a lot with trying to stay loyal and switching up on how I play the game.
Whether or not this switching of game style gets me 2nd or not... that's okay. At least I attempted to play differently.
THE SPIEL:
I think you should vote for me because
I believe I've played this game very well socially and physically. And decently strategically.
Where I faltered in the strategic category is where I was having the disconnect of how I used to play versus
this new style of game play.
~SOCIALLY~
I connected with the majority of the cast where we were tribemates at one time.
I didn't have any major blow ups with any cast members.
I voted in the majority of the 13 TCs I attended [sans the F4]
I knew of most alliances and pairings that were a threat to my game.
~PHYSICALLY~
I won 4 individual immunity challenges.
#8, #13, #14, #15
After Crystal was voted out, I was fearful.
The tight grouping of Matty/Sierra/Steph/Joaquin were not going to go against each other yet.
Varner had played an idol and could not get one, and thus was not a target.
I knew the vote was between Tom/I.
I had done more damage control with Sierra/Matty than Tom.
Unfortunately, I could not save Tom and he martyred himself for me. Telling me to win it.
I fortunately won the remaining challenges to secure myself a spot in the finale.
Had I not won F6, Joaquin wanted me out instead of Stephanie.
And I knew I had to keep winning in order to keep from being considered.
~STRATEGICALLY~
I believe this is where most of the jury questions will stem from
that pertain to my gameplay.
I was slightly dependent on discussions with Jeff and Tom
on maneuvers that should be made that would benefit the 3 of us.
They were my voices of reason.
But I also made some decisions deliberately on my own.
I told Crystal about the Ian vote and would have told her about the vote switch had my cell phone not died.
I told Stephanie and Sierra minutes before the Ozzy vote what was going to happen.
I told Matty who I did and did not want to go to the end with to garner trust.
I deliberately told things to Sierra and Matty that made them think I was not as attached to Varner.
~LUCK~
No one cannot get to the end without a little bit of luck.
All in all, I look forward to your questions.
