(yes I am behind, sorry but the game has been going kinda slow so I keep telling myself I'll have time to do confessionals later)

Ok I'm done. I don't want to bring my negativity down to that level. Just happy this is all over and done with. Not QUITE happy with what happened next though.
So we were hoping for a merge at 12 honestly. Was HOPING that wasn't too much to ask. I was looking at archives to see when the merge generally was. All I really saw was that it was generally around this time. Figured that if jury didn't start now that would mean a F2 is very likely. This whole double tribal business does scare me a little bit though. On this tribe it looks relatively straight forward, but on the other tribe I cannot imagine a happy result.
But first let's talk about my two new tribemates!!!!!!
Chelsea
The fact I have a custom gif of her saved on my computer should probably show I'm kinda a fan of the rep choice. However the person who CHOSE the rep. well she isn't too bad. Fairly sociable even though it's kinda hard to carry a convo. She messages me multiple times a day which is probably good socially, but I doubt she is doing that with just me. I don't feel particularly close to her, but we did obviously just meet. Sierra mentioned that Tom had some weird connection with her so should be interesting.

Chelsea

PROBABLY one of the biggest threats in the game lol. SUPER DUPER nice guy and I really did absolutely enjoy talking to him for the bit I did. Absolutely no game stuff but we basically just shared out mutual love for survivor (like most people do) but it still felt pretty cool. He is a funny guy and of course tries to be funny publicly on the board sometimes. I know Tom really likes him and honestly I do too as a person.
But the way out tribe is set up is Tom, Jaime, and I from NuBarra and Varner, Ozzy, and Chelsea from NuPenedo. It's been a while since I have talked to Ozzy and we weren't particularlyclose on Novias but when we swapped we chatted and he basically filled me in on everything that happened.
So Osten getting eliminated was nbd. Ozzy had been working with Steph and Varner with Chelsea for the first bit of the first swap. Then all four of them found out that oldBarra was trying to essentially play both sides. So those four decided to team up to get rid of Joaq, who had been inactive. Ian had the idol and APPARENTLY someone leaked to them that they were voting for Joaq, so they switched the vote last minute to Ian. Ian played the idol on Joaq and was promptly eliminated. They then continued to win so no more drama there really. What Ozzy seemed to infer was that the 4 of them were relatively close.
So I talked to Chelsea and she basically said the same stuff. I basically straight up asked if it was them against oldBarra and she said not exactly. She liked Crystal (hmm, saying she likes someone and Ozzy saying there was a leak? Interesting). She seemed to be ok with voting for Ozzy as long as he didn't get immunity. Tom said that was probably going to be the case, Varner and Chelsea being ok with voting Ozzy. So that's cool, doesn't mean I wasn't still paranoid.
The idol is out there. No idea who had it though. When the challenge started Chelsea and Varner told Tom they didn't have the idol and Ozzy told Jaime he didn't. Welp, because Tom and Jaime don't have it and I 100% believe them. So does that mean someone is lying?
I was talking to Jaime about possible scenarios. Jaime has immunity down on lock basically, as do Chelsea and Crystal. Jaime would probably be the target if Ozzy has the idol, which is what I started to assume. I don't even want to think about Jaime being a target because I may be Matty Ice, but I am NOT going to be the one to vote out Jaime right now. He has immunity anyway so nothing to worry about with him.
But if Ozzy has the idol and Jaime has immunity, that means I'M the next logical target. I'm sure Varner would rather not vote for me. He seemed to enjoy our convo and he told Tom about how he liked me. But if Ozzy has the idol, it probably would be me going. I was trying to come up with wonky schemes like having Jaime and I vote Jeff so if Ozzy plays the idol it's a 3-2-1 vote and Jeff goes instead of me, a whole bunch of crazy stuff. Then my heart attack stopped when Tom told me Chelsea actually had it the whole time, she just forgot to check.
Now Jaime still thinks Varner is a threat, and he is for sure, but trying to rock the boat now is not good. An easy vote would be the best vote. Tom said that he and Varner were telling Ozzy I was the vote, Jaime told him that I would vote Tom with them. It was actually kinda confusing. Jeff apologized for me being the scapegoat but I honestly didn't care too much about it. Like I preached in Good and Evil, I don't mind getting votes, as long as a vote for me isn't the last thing I see in this game.
I feel bad for Ozzy, but this is how the vote works. As the deadline approached apparently everyone was telling him they were voting him. He asked me straight up and I wasn't going to lie to him. He's too nice of a guy for that. So he was bummed out and even though I started to realize he was probably going out pre-jury I did still want to talk to him about it. I have burned enough bridges in games like this and if I can prevent that, even from a non-jury management perspective, I'd really like that.
