Episode 3: An Adventure

Presenting another edition of........

Sorry, I got a good idea for a confessional theme to use in another ORG and I can't wait to use it.

Aaaaaannnyyyyywwwaaaaayyyyy it feels nice not having to go to tribal council. Thanks to a lot of hard work all around last round we had nothing to worry about as a tribe her on Novais. The 2 tribes who did go to TC had some interesting boots though.

Debbie seemed pretty active in the very first challenge. She was online a lot as a predator, so I was supirsed to her get cut so early. I have no idea what is going on in that tribe because of the whole non cross tribal communication thing, so it is hard to know exactly what is going on. For all I know she was an inactive who got her tribe mad.

So much for second chances…….I guess Shane just pissed off too many people too early on in order to make it far in the game. Good on him for coming back but it is a shame his stay was so short lived. His tribe has had to go to TC twice, which must be pretty lame. At least we know that next round I will be able to talk to some new people.



BECAUSE WE WILL BE SWTICHEING. I mean nothing is confirmed yet, but it makes so much sense. After this challenge we will have 16 cast members left. That probably means 2 tribes of 8 and 4 (ish) more votes until the merge, Should be exciting for the next few days!



I was really excited to see a creative challenge waiting for me, but the initial deadline really scared me. Because of real life things (I am ok, it’s all happy stuff) I haven’t been on much at all this entire weekend. Granted, I don’t think my tribe has either because they ARE ALL INACTIVE. I was just worried I wouldn’t be able to help in a graphic design challenge which I try to be really good at. Luckily I found some time so I was able to volunteer to do just about anything.



Right now out tribe is looking fly. Ozzy did a good job picking the background and Amber had a fantastic idea (imo) to make cartoony survivor players and use them on the flag instead of normal faces. I got some font and made a pretty neat logo, so I am happy. Overall I think we will be safe at this next tribal, but just in case……

I am worried about Ozzy in a tribe swap because I haven’t talked to him much at all. We NEED to connect more so I will be safe in a swap situation. I like him enough but idk what his social relationships really consist of.

Also Ed. Ed hasn’t been around in days and we are siting him out of the challenge because of it. He would be the easiest boot of this round I think, but I am supposed to have a 3 way alliance with him and Steph.

Steph brought up the idea of cutting Ed if we need to, which I feel a bit bad about. However, if you are not going to show up and help, you aren’t in much of an alliance of mine. Steph also does not like Amber, which worries me. She said that she doesn’t like how Amber doesn’t respond after a while. I can see what she means, and I think I have gotten used to it at this point.

Oh I still really hope Amber is telling me a truth about life and stuff lol. I recently listened to a podcast talking about a player that lies about everything the people when socializing and tells their confessional about the lies they have told. I would be a little crushed if this is Amber at this point, because I have tried opening myself to her. I guess it will be a fairly long time until I figure it out.

I know Jaime and I are still bros. I found out this is his first board ORG, which explains some of the behavior. Even though he offered me a day 1 F2 I don’t feel too sketched out by him. He is a new player and I think may try staying true to his word. Have to see though. Jaime also told me about how he has the idol for this round, so once again, nothing to worry about!



It is late so I need to go sleep. I will surely have an update tomorrow so good bye!!!!

So looks like things are going to be happening!!!!!!!!



Well, kinda. Obviously because we lost the challenge, that means we are going to be the one tribe going to tribal council.



But that’s ok! Um, kinda. Entering the swap we aren’t going to be seen as any sort of threat numbers wise I think. Blue tribe will have the most members and we will be tied for having the least members on a tribe. So that’s good! Kinda…..well it’s something.



Losing someone isn’t going to be fun. I know either way I am going to be busy tomorrow trying to make bonds after a swap hits to avoid getting voted out. At this point it seems inevitable that it is happening, so it would actually be pretty funny if it doesn’t, ngl. I think everyone expects it to be next round due to the numbers left on each tribe. I am excited to see if we swap or not. Kinda hope not, but I am prepared for when it happens I think.



Luckily I have made pretty solid relationships with almost every tribe member. I talk lots with Steph, Amber, and Jaime. I really do like all 3 of them and I don’t know who I would pick if I had to pick one as a #1. As it stands, I think my rankings may be something like this:



1. Steph

2. Amber

3. Jaime



Then Ozzy and Ed somewhere after. Ed popped on for 2 seconds yesterday before we started the challenge and directly after we sat him out for not being around. It’s pretty annoying, but at least the vote seems pretty easy for this round thanks to him. Yes, it appears that poor Ed is going to be the target. Now granted, I said Ozzy was the target last time, went to bed, and woke up to Parvati being the new one. My situation between Ozzy and Ed is pretty similar to Ozzy and Parv. I can live with either of them getting eliminated. I guess I can do some pro and con stuff with them.

Pros: Active and around. From the few times I talked to him I enjoyed it. Seems to like me?

Cons: HAS to know he is at the bottom. Knows he can be voted out. Come swap time he may looks for other options.

Pros: Weirdly enough I trust him and he likes me. A number when he is around and a target before me because I don’t think he has a great social game with the whole Spanish schtick thing.

Cons: Not around so can’t be a number really. No idea where his head is ever at. Everyone else wants him out because he is inactive and doesn’t deserve to be here as much as others.



So that is my analysis. The big things to focus on are that in a swap I don’t really trust Ozzy to stick with me, but switching the vote to Ozzy over Ed is going to be WAY too hard to be worth it. I know Amber wants Ed out over Ozzy, and Steph seems to be ok with either one, but brought up voting Ed out. So much for our little threesome alliance.

I haven’t talked to Jaime since results have gone up, but I would think he is ok with voting out Ed. We did briefly talk about him being the target if we ever lost a challenge. What I DO know thanks to Jaime is that Ed doesn’t have an idol he can randomly pull out. Jaime has it so that is very good to know and very good that he told me.



So right now Steph and Jaime have told me about getting idols, Amber has told me she never has gotten one, and I told all three of them that I got one in Round 2. If the 3 of them are talking in some combo they can easily figure out I am not being 1 on 1 with them, which is bad. LUCKILY I don’t think they are getting too too close. I have no idea what Jaime is up to socially, but I know as far as Amber and Steph they don’t seem to talk together much. Apparently when my internet died and it showed I was offline Steph told Amber she was going to sleep (because she wasn’t going to stay up just to talk to Amber), then when I told her what happened she laughed it off and talked to me for a few more minutes.



It’s the little things. I really do like the people I talk to on this tribe so it will be sad to see us get split up. Right now I have kinda been sitting back and watching as people talk to me. They give me info and I keep it to myself mostly. Listen, don’t speak much. I am watching Thailand rn (I am trying to watch every survivor season) and Brian Heidik said something pretty similar. Now I am no Iceman (ironically enough. YET) but I think it’s a pretty good philosophy to play by. Get info and selectively decide to share it. Can I tell other people I know that Ed doesn’t have the idol? Of course. But then they would follow up with questions like “Well why did they tell you they have the idol? Are you close to them?” and I want to put on the illusion that I am just as close to people, if not less, than the people I am talking to.



Unfortunately I took on a bit of a leadership role in this creative challenge of failure. Personally I liked the flag, I like the simple design versus the other busier designs, but I can see why it didn’t get good scores. It is a creative challenge and therefore results can be relative, but the fact we lost by so much shows that we just deserved to lose today. Oh well, time to move on.

I am worried that I am putting myself too much out there. While I said I wanted to avoid playing UTR in my app for this (after coming off a very UTR game in GaE) I don’t want to be suicidal and make myself look like a threat. Am I too late? Hopefully not. At this point I am still here to have fun but ultimately to win. Will it happen? Ehhhhh, guess we will see. My track record in non-Twisted games has been pretty decent so I have a good shot.

So I woke up this morning and guess what! The vote was being debated again! Wonderful.

Apparently Ed messaged Jaime and Steph about how each of them are okay with voting for Ozzy. I guess Ed didn't just think that they would talk to eachother and sort that out. THEN, he also went and told Jaime and Steph that he has the idol!

Now Steph is pretty worried about that because she doesn't want Ed to flip in a swap. Tbf, I think both him and Ozzy would flip at a swap because they know they can very well have been next if tribes stayed the same. I wouldn't feel all that comfortable being on a tribe with either of them. But I can't exactly tell Steph to just not worry about the idol. I know Jaime has it and Ed is just bluffing, but I don't want to be fishy and tell her that Jaime told me he has the idol.

I ended up asking Jaime if he considered telling Steph he has the idol. I don't want to have to deal with unnecessary paranoia for this round, so him telling her about the idol seems to be the easiest way to do things. I brought up it may also get her to trust him more, so that's a plus. AND Steph will tell me if Jaime has the idol, considering she told me Ed told her he had the idol. This would basically show that she trusts me. If she trusts Jaime I may be able to suggest some kind of 3 person deal.

I do hate to leave Amber out of it, but I am hoping that in a swap situation Amber and Steph don't end up on the same tribe by themselves because I think it is very likely they vote for each other. Idk though, for all I know they are actually best friends and I am being left completely in the dark about it.

I just want this round to be quick and painless. No idol paranoia, no had votes, no nothing. Ozzy came online for a few seconds and asked me if he was the target. I told him no, Ed was, and told him about how Ed is claiming to have the idol, but I still intend on voting him. I am guessing this will get Ozzy to trust me a little more. Once comforting thing seemed to be that he talked to me before Steph and he didn't talk to Jaime at all when they were both online. So I know Ozzy is at least closer to me than to them in a worst case scenario. He said he was voting Ed so I figured all is good.
