Hello everyone. I'm happy to be starting this game up. This is actually my first one on Proboards but I'm getting the hang of it pretty quickly so that's good news. This is also my first game where cross-tribal communication is not allowed and I actually find that better because I don't have to worry about how much the other people on my tribe are talking to other tribes. We have a small tribe that is pretty easy to manage so I'm pretty happy about that. I haven't had a lot of time to do stuff yet because I'm entering a bit of a busy time but it shouldn't last too long so that's good. Before I get into everything, I should probably just introduce myself to people who may know me. I've played in a few ORGs. I have played as Erik Cardona in the Twisted series, Eric Stein in EpicSBB3, and Burton Robers in the Island. I played very different strategies in each game so it'll be interesting to see how my strategy develops this time.
Anyways, my tribe is looking very good right now. We won the first challenge which is very exciting. I didn't do anything which makes the win all the more satisfying. Crystal apparently went nuts with scoring and logged on really early in the morning to win us the challenge. I was pretty happy about that. I would've probably been able to stay up really late to score but I had pulled an all-nighter the night before so I couldn't. We still won. I don't really know my standing right now because no one seems to be around an incredible amount including me so unless I am way off base (which is very possible) we are a tribe of seven semi-actives. I'll talk a little bit about each one in order of likelihood I'll work with them.
Ian- I talk to Ian a lot, probably the most of anyone on my tribe. Ian is really cool and quirky. He's fun to talk to and I feel like we've bonded a lot over random stuff like Big Brother, movies, school stuff, etc. I think Ian is solid and probably pretty honest because I've noticed that bubbly and open people are usually the least likely to be hiding stuff. I'll most likely try to make sure Ian and I have each other's backs going forward because I feel the most comfortable trusting him atm.
Kimmi- I don't talk to Kimmi as much but she is just as nice and easy to talk to. We talk mainly about Survivor but we exchange paragraphs. I get a naive/noob vibe from her and I could be way wrong but if I am right, I can certainly take advantage of that and hope that she is trustworthy. I think we both like each other right now so working with her seems pretty ideal.
Cirie- Cirie is a bit too bubbly for me and offers cheery expressions as responses that shorten the conversation. I like her but I feel like she is one of those people who talks to everyone on the tribe and does so pretty superficially. I may try to have her on my side but only because that probably means I have the rest of the numbers on my side.
Crystal- Crystal is nice and pretty cool but much like Cirie, she isn't around much and when she is doesn't make the conversation very long. I think she's cool for now but I don't see myself aligning with her long term.
Debbie- Not around often. When she is she is pretty cool though conversations aren't long. I don't really know what to make of her yet but I guess she's cool for now.
John- Never around. Most inactive. I am hoping he will be the easy and logical first boot but we'll have to see. I had one conversation with the guy that lasted about five minutes so I have no intention to keep him around.
The first round was very uneventful and boring. It is probably some combination of a challenge win (and lack of tribal), my own lack of being around, and the inactivity of much of the rest of my tribe. Hopefully, things pick up in the coming rounds but for now this is looking good.
