For anyone who knows me, they know I like making edgics, and I volunteered to make the edgic for Luanda. If anyone has any input or critiques or just wanna discuss it, this is the official thread to do so.

This is always a sort of cool thing to see done. Whenever a good game has it, it's sorta fun to follow. I mean, you could say it leaves you...wanting MOR?

And here we are, Round 1 of the Luanda Edgic. Some policies I have is I don't assign more than 6 CP (or CP offshoots like CPP, CPN, CPM) per round, just because it gets oversaturated. Confessional activity always takes a hit after Round 1, so odds are this won't be an issue again. For those who don't know what Edgicing is or what these colors and terms mean, click here. It's technically the One World Edgic post, but they're all practically the same and it explains the ratings, tone, and visibility. Matty: Matty was CP5, but he got bumped up to CPP5 due to positive SPV from some tribemates, sympathy for Ozzy, and the fact that every other tribemate not named Ozzy got an N this round. Matty wrote more than anyone but Kimmi, and he also didn't make his confessionals look larger with a larger font size. Cirie: Cirie was the first victim this season of the "6 CP" rule I have in place, mostly due to some good insight blended in with some random unnecessary bitchiness and cussing. Other people like Shane and Amber were able to articulate their thoughts with negativity showing through, but remained pretty well spoken. She only got a MORN4 this round.Kimmi: I contemplated giving Kimmi a CPP instead of a CP, but she didn't have the same kind of positive SPV from other people and didn't stand out nearly as much as Matty due to the lack of negativity on her tribe.Natalie: Natalie got an UTRN2, and while she didn't confess, her boot was highlighted by 1. A lack of activity and 2. Botching the challenge. Her tribe also seems pretty bitchy and unloaded on her pretty quickly, so she got bumped up to that due to SPV.Joaquin: I normally don't hand out INV to people unless they don't confess for multiple rounds or don't confess and truly aren't mentioned. However, he's on the winning tribe so he doesn't have the story element of even getting voted out and due to some awesome confessionals from other people, it's his Edgic penalty.Tom: Okay, this one might be weird. Tom has this OTT character for sure, but the information he's providing isn't OTT and is rather insightful. His OOC thread really drives the point home, and helps showcase how aware of his own act he is. ContendersSo, I have one person from each tribe on here just because Round 1 contenders is a crapshoot. I think no tribe is completely written off 1. Cirie - Cirie is currently playing both sides and has Crystal in her pocket, so she's set. Unless CC rats her out for whatever reason, Cirie has control of the vote when Barra goes to Tribal, and she'll be in control of the majority alliance after that. It'll take some serious misplays on her part or a swap to bring her down. Otherwise, she's an early pick to dominate.
2. Matty - Matty is pretty well-liked by his Novai tribemates and it puts him in a good spot. Ozzy's an easy boot if they lose again, and not everyone is buying into Ed's character, so I can't see Matty going anytime soon. He doesn't have the same swing vote thing as Cirie, and there's less stability, so he's taking the number 2 spot.
3. Sierra - Sierra is seemingly in a good spot on Penedo, but I don't think it's that stable. She's apart of the Shane/Osten/Big Tom, which was reported by Osten, so I can't tell how valid it actually is. My other worry is Penedo is peaceful now, but if something blows up, it'll blow up in a big way. Chelsea and Sierra are emotional players, Osten is an idiot, Tom gets way too serious, and Shane is Shane. I think Sierra is the least likely to fall victim to any nasty shit that unfolds, but we'll need to see.
4. Kimmi - I can't tell if Kimmi is a good player. Regardless, she's adorable. She has this naive scatterbrain vide that's imbued in her confessionals, she's teamed up with OTTComedian Ian, and her intro is a great first impression. However, I need to fill a 4th spot so I'm choosing someone who I really liked Round 1 who seems like they can do well.
Feel free to leave whatever comments you have, whether it's insight, changes to the Edgic, or merely agreeing with your lord and master Brandon Bellinger.

Wow, looking at that chart, we've got one mean-spirited cast, don't we?

Wow, looking at that chart, we've got one mean-spirited cast, don't we? It's not too bad. Things can change, and sometimes negativity is from SPV. Some people (Shane) acknowledge that they're the bad guys and plan on causing problems while others (Cirie, Jamie) actually insult people in their confessionals and are mean-spirited.

I don't know if I 100% agree with cirie being negative. I would almost consider her mixed. She's definitely likeable in the eyes of all the players

I don't know if I 100% agree with cirie being negative. I would almost consider her mixed. She's definitely likeable in the eyes of all the players I have her as negative instead of mixed because despite her being well-liked, we already see her calling people bitches and gloating about being in power. Villains can be liked by people who are aligned with them/on their tribe, but in their confessionals is where the negativity shines through.

Sorry for the delay, I was in San Francisco for a bit. Here we are, Round 2. It was a sad round, with Shane leaving and breaking my heart in the process, but oh well. Let's check out a few ratings that were a bit more up in the air. Tom gets a CPP5 instead of a CP5 because he was willing to drop his character and really try to help Chelsea, and he got some good positive SPV this round. He was also blindsided by the person he was trying to help and then dragged through the dirt by Osten, who in all his games, has digressed from a fun villain/pre-juror with potential to a bonafide asshole. Ian was AWESOME this round. Seriously, gunning for Debbie for pretty much no reason, he unintentionally crippled Cirie's power base, made himself public enemy number one, and now has Joaquin in his pocket? Seriously, targeting Debbie (I still don't understand why), teaming up with outsider Joaquin, and royally pissing off his tribe while talking about how easy this was is great. I love this kid, and although his confessionals weren't enough for OTTN3, the SPV he got really raised it.Chelsea was just a CP3, but it got changed to a CPN3 when she revealed everything to Sierra that she told to Tom and she pretty much fucked herself over big time. Tom and Shane were both really on-board with her, and she burned them both, and made Big Tom, someone who could be obnoxious, into the root-able underdog.
Debbie gets an UTRP1 for not confessing, and getting voted out by Ebil Ian and his BFF Joaquin. It's mostly due to Ian and his insane NSPV slaying someone for no reason, hence the P. Mostly a storyline thing. ContendersI moved Sierra into the number one spot, because Chelsea completed played into her hand and gave Sierra all the power on the tribe. Osten's currently digging his own grave, Chelsea/Jeff are fully with Sierra, and Tom is on the outs and is an easy vote. Sierra also has the social skills to get some Novais people to flip, considering the whole tribe has talked about flipping if (let's be real, it's when) a swap comes. Or a dissolve. Sierra is currently the frontrunner. Matty retains the second spot because I have no faith in the Novais tribe, even though there's no real way he gets sent packing. Matty has a lot of good relationships on the tribe, and while everyone talks about jumping ship, they talk about bringing Matty with them. Matty isn't going anywhere. Kimmi got bumped up and took the highest placing on Barra, which is just shy of being Penedo levels of bad. She's in a good spot where she's in the good graces of Ian and Cirie, the two respective power players. Ian is looking at John as his next target, while Cirie is looking at Ian, and Kimmi can sit peacefully between both sides as they battle it out. Regardless of who goes, she'll remain safe. Cirie got dropped to the 4th contender because Debbie was firmly in her corner and is now out, and Ian is going after John next. I don't think Cirie herself is at risk, but she was perfectly in the middle in Round 1, and then this vote took out an ally and set up Ian/Joaquin as her opposition. If John does go home next round, then Cirie will really be in trouble.

I feel like Cirie was waaay more negative here than she was the first round? I think she was more negative this round, but a lot of it was thrown at Ian, so it was somewhat justified. I'm probably gonna change it to an N.
