The Tom thing does sound kinda grating. Then again, I've had a couple of instances of being in character, but that was like being Coach once, so you're expected to be over the top.
Also, I want to like Jamie for character choice, but even I sort of feel like there's a bit of GIF overload this early. Plus...I admit my first instinct when I see someone using a Big Bang Theory GIF is to question if they're really okay or if something's wrong.
